Borneo Bugs and Beasties

So far we have been very lucky in the rainforest and have seen so many different animals in the wild – birds, butterflies, beetles, monkeys, deer, civets, spiders, snakes and leeches just to name a few. 


Unfortunately not all of these are so happy about getting their photo taken as one would have liked and very often stop and look at you as you get your camera out and then disappear behind a tree just as you take your picture.

The result of this has been that a large number of our photos and videos have been of some of the slower moving creatures, in particular bugs and beasties. 

Now you will all know that Mrs M is a fearless explorer, frightened of no known creature, and as such has had no problems in dispatching her photo-wallah to go and get up close and personal with the wilder wildlife.  Below are some of our better up close and personal moments with:
