12270 of 35151 miles completed

We have only just realised that we are long overdue on a distance travelled and general stats update.

So as you can tell from the title we have now travelled 12270 miles from the UK, via India and Hong Kong to Borneo, which is about a third of our total journey.

In this time we have also completed 7 flights and have been on a variety of different forms of transport including jeeps, tuk tuks, trains and speedboats.

We have also taken approximately 800 photos (which is a fairly tame average of 30.77 photos per day), eaten 51 curries and drunk approximately 173 cups of tea.  Interestingly the majority of the tea we have drunk has been Twinings (even in India), well interesting to us anyway (and probably Mike F too).

More stats to follow in due course.

  1. Another interesting, if not frightening, statstic, is that I drive almost 35,000 miles a year, seldom leaving the UK !!
Mrs M senior says Twinnings is her favourite tea here too in Scotia !!
