Sydney Brunch

Now most of you probably know that me and Mrs M are both foodies and one of the Chefs we like is Bill Granger.  Now as Bill started his first restaurant in Sydney it would be crazy for us not to head there for a spot of brunch, so this morning we head off to Darlinghurst to Bills.

After a bit of a walk and an effort to try and find it, we have a lovely brunch of Buttermilk Pancakes for Mrs M and the chilli egg brioche roll with mango chutney for Mr M.  One of the best brunches of the trip!

From here we head back into town and stop off at the impressive ANZAC memorial before catching the monorail around Darling Harbour.

We have our last meal in a nice gastro-pub in The Rocks and then grab one of the last ferries for one last cruise of the harbour at night.  We can’t decide whether we prefer the ferry during the day or at night as both have just amazing views.

Great views of Sydney at night

Sydney has been a real surprise for us as we thought it might have been a bit big and brash, but in actual fact Sydney has been one of our highlights and ranks as one of our favourite cities of the trip. Mrs M also loved going back to Sydney and doing it in style, rather than as a backpacker many moons ago!
