It was bound to happen but today the weather is cold and grey for our last day in San Francisco.
After checking out of the B&B we take a walk down to see the Golden Gate Bridge but don't hang about too long as we are not prepared for the ice wind down on the water front.
From here we walk to see the Palace of Fine Arts before catching the trolley bus into town.
We decide to spend a couple of hours looking round the shops as we need to get a few things in preparation for the cold weather we are expecting in Portland and Vancouver. We also have a good look round Chinatown with some very ornate arches and buildings.
Then its time for a quick Italian dinner and then to the Amtrak office at the Ferry Building to catch the bus for our overnight train (Coast Starlight) to Portland.
